Now We Are Six by A. A. Milne is a beautifully illustrated hardcover edition of the beloved 1927 children's poetry collection, featuring E. H. Shepard's original illustrations newly colorized by Diego Jourdan Pereira.

What I particularly like about this edition is the opportunity to see Shepard's familiar drawings in color. The poems themselves are full of Milne's wonderfully observant humor about childhood, including eleven featuring characters from the Hundred Acre Wood.

I chose this edition for my StoryGiftStudio™ bookstore because it offers another lovely way to discover Milne beyond his famous Pooh stories. A charming addition to a child's library, a poetry collection, or a Winnie-the-Pooh bookshelf.

FAQs

WHAT IS A GICLEÉ PRINT?

Giclee printing is currently the highest quality standard for printing single or limited edition prints. The term "giclee"(pronounced "ZHEE-CLAY")is a French word meaning "to spray." Giclee prints are created by spraying millions of droplets of ink onto archival fine-art substrates. The word "giclee," as a fine-art term, has come to be associated with prints using fade-resistant archival pigmented inks printed on archival substrates by professional inkjet printers. Giclee prints represent the highest evolution in printmaking technology. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy and richer depth of color than other means of art reproduction possible.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT ABOUT THE PRINT QUALITY?

A great gicleé print begins with a great image. We proudly use a privately owned giclee printing company founded in 2003 that services the fine art and photography markets. They have gained international recognition with featured articles about their services in Digital Ouput Magazine, Digital Photo Pro Magazine and on the Oprah show. Osio-Brown Editions is one of the original giclee printing studios in the Chicago area and is a preeminent force in the fine art giclee printing industry. Their client list extends throughout the United States, Central & South America and Europe.

WHAT ABOUT FRAMING?

The prints are standard sizes allowing them to be framed easily with stock size frames found in most stores. Custom framing is always a beautiful option but not necessary.

CAN I ORDER AN ORIGINAL AND/OR CUSTOM PIECE OF ARTWORK?
